Subject Matter Experts

Shaun Castle

Army veteran, accomplished wheelchair athlete, and Deputy Executive Director of PVA, Shaun served five years in the Army as a military police officer. He served in Kosovo, Macedonia and missions in support of the Global War on Terrorism. In 2002, he served as a protective services guard to two four-star Generals.

Mauren Elias

Over 19 years of experience with the U.S. Military service, both active duty and as a veteran. She spent the last 13 years advocating for military family and veterans’ issues employing exceptional interpersonal communications skills while collaborating with multiple organizations to achieve a common goal.
