Peer Leader Training Series
This 10-part Peer Leader Training series prepares Veterans to lead their fellow Warriors and run successful peer support groups. In the first episode, Become a Peer Support Group leader, you will learn that anyone with the desire to serve and empower fellow heroes can become a peer leader. Additional topics include establishing a group, facilitating and resolving conflict, burnout, and leading warriors with military sexual trauma (MST), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Who is this course for?
This course series was created for Veterans & military-connected communities looking to dive more deeply into peer leadership and peer support groups.
What to expect?
Ten lessons covering key topics about peer leadership and support groups. Approximately 1.5 hours of training.
