PsychArmor Announces Appointment of Melissa DeTamble to Board of Directors
HR Professional and Veteran spouse brings passion and experience to new role
San Diego, CA – January 2025 – PsychArmor, a leading nonprofit dedicated to transforming the way the nation engages with military and Veteran communities through education and training, is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa DeTamble to its Board of Directors.
Melissa brings 30 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a particular focus on talent development, executive compensation, and organizational growth. In her Human Resources leadership roles, Melissa has been instrumental in driving business transformation, including overseeing the expansion of a private equity-backed company from $500 million to over $1.3 billion in revenue. She is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer of Ascential Technologies. Her depth of expertise in HR strategy, succession planning, and board collaboration makes her an exceptional addition to the PsychArmor board.
In addition to her impressive professional background, Melissa has a personal and heartfelt connection to the military and veteran communities. As the late spouse of a veteran, she has firsthand experience with the unique challenges faced by military families. She has served on the Board of Naperville Responds, where she helped raise significant funds for housing support for veterans. As she completes her term with that organization, she is eager to further her impact in the veteran community through her work with PsychArmor.
