DR. KEITA FRANKLIN
A national policy leader with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Keita M. Franklin recently accepted a new position at Deloitte as a Specialist Executive under the federal and public sector portfolio working in the area of strategy and analytics. She will be working across the federal enterprise on areas related to mental health and suicide prevention.
Prior to joining the Deloitte team, Dr. Franklin was a senior executive at PsychHub, and both the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). In her government work, she frequently represented the DoD and the VA during testimony in front of both chambers of Congress and advised the Office of the President, the Domestic Policy Council, and the National Security Council. During her tenure, Dr. Franklin led enterprise-wide programming for Veterans, military service members and their families. She has also consulted with numerous entities on issues related to military and veteran mental health, suicide prevention and children and families.
Dr. Franklin holds a PhD in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University and an advanced certificate from the Center for Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA). She also earned certificates from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education on “Leading Large Organizational Change” and “Women in Leadership,” as well as the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School course on “Executive Leadership.”
