Danny Gladden, MBA, MSW, LCSW, joins PsychArmor Board

Oracle’s Director of Behavioral Health and Social Care supports strategic vision for growth in healthcare markets, suicide prevention resources

San Diego, CA--PsychArmor is pleased to announce the appointment of Danny Gladden to the Board of Directors. Currently the General Manager and Director of Behavioral Health and Social Care for Oracle Health, he has responsibility for Oracle Cerner’s behavioral health and social care solutions. With the specialized skill set from an MBA and MSW, Danny presents regularly on suicide assessment & prevention, crisis intervention, LGBTQ behavioral health, and the intersection of trauma & oppression. 

As the premiere learning platform for military cultural competency, PsychAmor is committed to expanding its reach into training for mental health providers with an eye towards suicide prevention and improved wellness outcomes. A licensed clinical social worker, former COO of a BH & SUD treatment practice and a practicing mental health and SUD treatment clinician, Danny champions real time, barrier free access to mental health and SUD treatment services with a particular focus working with consumers at risk of suicide and those living with severe and persistent mental illness. Danny previously served as clinical leader of a National Suicide Prevention and Veterans crisis contact center and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Social Work at St. Louis University School of Social Work.

“As a brother, uncle and grandson of veterans and former clinical leader of a Veterans crisis contact center, I understand the critical need for cultural competence and humility when working with our veterans and first responders,” says Gladden. “ I am excited to join the board of PsychArmor to advance the mission of training healthcare providers in military and veteran cultural awareness. ” 

Danny is a member of Treatment Communities of America and previously served as co-chair of the Early Career Committee for the American Association of Suicidology. He received his BS from the University of Missouri -Columbia, MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler and his Masters in Social Work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University.
