Local 1102 RWDSU/UFCW Charitable Trust Proud to Donate to PsychArmor in Support of Military and Veteran Communities
Babylon, NY – June 12, 2025 – Local 1102 RWDSU/UFCW Charitable Trust proudly presented a generous donation to PsychArmor, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to transforming the way our nation engages with the military and Veteran community through the power of education and training.
The check was presented by Jack Caffey, President of RWDSU Local 1102, to PsychArmor CEO Dr. Tina Atherall at the charitable trust’s recent fundraising event. The event, which was attended by community and labor leaders and supporters, celebrated shared missions of compassion and action, and highlighted the importance of supporting those who serve, along with their families and caregivers.
“Tina Atherall, the CEO of this great organization who is with us today, is helping build a more connected, compassionate, and informed nation—one relationship at a time,” said Caffey during the presentation.
PsychArmor’s mission focuses on equipping individuals and communities with knowledge, tools, and powerful stories to better understand and support military service members, Veterans, and their families. As a trusted source of military cultural awareness, PsychArmor’s training and resources reach caregivers, employers, clinicians, and communities across the nation.
