Madeline Schildwachter

Sometimes called a Jane of All Trades, Madeline brings that same versatility to her work as a Development Consultant at PsychArmor, supporting the Development team by doing whatever is needed—from outward-facing work like engaging donors and potential learners to inward-facing work managing development operations behind the scenes. Her fundraising roots trace back to college, where she worked calling alumni for donations, and continued through law school as she worked on political campaigns mobilizing fundraising efforts and coordinating volunteers. Her connection to the military community runs deep: as a child, she grew up in an Army town, and as the spouse of a Marine, she spent ten years at Semper Fi & America's Fund working with fundraising events and donor relations. It was there she developed a professional edge to her passion for serving those who serve. That experience, combined with her husband's service, brought her family to Southeastern North Carolina, where they've put down roots. Madeline earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from The Citadel and a Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law. In her free time, you can find her in her garden or on the golf course.
