Leah Christensen, LCSW
Operations Consultant
Leah Christensen is a strategic healthcare leader and consultant with more than 20 years of experience designing and scaling programs that improve outcomes for veterans, families, and caregivers. She serves in a consultative role with Psych Armor, advising on operations, bringing deep expertise in clinical practice, interdepartmental collaboration, and caregiving. Previously, Leah served in senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, (VA) including over 13 years in VA’s Caregiver Support Program.
A licensed clinical social worker in Oregon and California, Leah obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and a BA in Psychology from Seattle University. She is a George W. Bush Institute’s Stand-To Veteran Leadership Scholar. To date, Leah has contributed to six publications in leading professional journals and throughout her career has served on multiple boards and advisory committees.
