Kathy is a dynamic People & Culture Executive, leadership coach, change agent, organizational transformation consultant. She is also a board member, author, and an adjunct professor at four universities, bringing a wealth of global leadership experience at the highest levels in both private and public organizations. With deep expertise in driving change, Kathy specializes in reshaping and reinventing organizations, systemic teams and leaders to become future ready. She helps individuals, teams, and companies strengthen their leadership and organizational capabilities, navigate cultural and organizational shifts, and enhance effectiveness, operational excellence, and execution to drive lasting impact and growth.
She is adept at organizational alignment and ensuring Strategic initiatives are integrated with Human Capital initiatives. She recognizes that an organization’s talent fuels its success and that empowerment/engagement of individuals and teams drives organizational purpose. She is committed to creating an engaged workplace built on respect, trust, equity, and accountability in order to strengthen the culture, foster long-term relationships and resilience, and contributes positively to all stakeholders served.
Kathy’s segment experience includes: High Tech, Telecom, Med Device, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Professional Services Organizations (Infosys Technologies, RGP and PWC), and the executive branch of the Federal Government. Her core competencies include: People Leadership, Talent/Organization Development & Utilization, Organizational Know-How, Strategy, Planning, Operational Excellence, Process Reengineering, and Business & Financial Acumen.
She’s held leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies to include: Nevro, Unisys, Sprint International, Air Touch/Verizon, and ALCOA, and in professional services with RGP, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) and INFOSYS. She has experience in the executive branch of the Federal Government and working with the Military. Prior to launching her own Executive Coaching, People & Culture Advisory & Organization Transformation Consulting Company, Change and Leadership Solutions, Kathy was Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer & Change Champion at Tri-City Medical Center; where she led the human resources, the compensation committee, and participated in all Board meetings. She is a designated Professional Certified Coach (PCC) conferred by the International Coach Federation (ICF), a certified practitioner of Systemic Team Coaching, and is a certified Clifton Strengths Coach conferred by Gallup. She has coached leaders at the Board, C-Suite, GM and P&L levels in public companies, and non-profit organizations. These leaders include CEO’s, C-Suite Leaders and Teams, Physicians, Military Officers, NATO, and Government Executives.
Her formal education includes a B.S. in Business from Robert Morris University and an M.S. in Human Resources and Organization Development from The American University’s Kogod School of Business, and post-graduate work in Human and Organizational Systems at Fielding Graduate University. She has been an Adjunct Professor at four universities to include The George Washington University, UC, Irvine, and UCSD teaching classes Organizational Behavior, and Leadership. Kathy has collaborated with The Wharton School of Business, INSEAD, and Teleos Leadership Institute to develop and deliver leadership courses, and partnered with McKinsey on organizational transformation work, negotiated several union agreements, and has authored several articles.
Kathy served in high-level government capacities for three United States’ Presidents, led M&A and JV initiatives globally for large Telecom and Tech companies, negotiated labor agreements, and has spoken at conferences. She is currently on several professional and community boards and has served on two advisory boards: the Employer Support of the National Guard and Reserve for the US Secretary of Defense, the Information Technology and Telecommunications Policy Board for the US Secretary of State, and The Conference Board Council on Executive Coaching. She also serves on Corporate Directors Forum Membership Committee, and the NWSD Boys & Girls Club Foundation Board.
