Suicide Prevention

Make a difference with S.A.V.E.

 A course that empowers you to play a vital role in suicide prevention, developed in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will gain a general understanding of the problem of suicide in the United States; understand how to identify a Veteran who may be at risk for suicide; and, finally, know what to do if you identify a Veteran at risk. Each of us has the opportunity to be that one person who makes a difference.

Suicide Prevention for Military-Connected Youth

This initiative is designed to provide essential tools for families and providers to support military-connected children and youth. Developed in collaboration with our Working Group of subject matter experts, led by Dr. Gregory Leskin, Director of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network for Military and Veteran Families, these courses and resource tools address unique risk and protective factors associated with suicide in this community.
