A strategic, multidisciplinary leader, Brian Bilski recently completed a successful 22- year career in the United States Marine Corps. Brian started his career as a Marine Aviator flying tactical attack helicopters, and was promoted into roles of increasing leadership and responsibility where he oversaw multi-million dollar programs for the development and procurement of tactical equipment and training of Marines for deployment.
Brian spent the last five years as the Officer in Charge of Transitioning Wounded Warriors and their families for the USMC Wounded Warrior Regiment. Brian was responsible for the transition support to over 28,000 Wounded Warriors and their families into rewarding career and education opportunities.
Brian extensively assisted private companies with establishing military and veteran outreach programs, recruiting military members, translating military resumes and occupational specialties, evaluating talent based upon military career progression, and creating onboarding procedures to help ensure retention.
Brian also provided advice to the White House and multiple Fortune 500 companies to develop the White House IT Initiative that provided over 3,000 scholarships and training for service members pursuing careers in the IT industry.
Brian has provided subject matter expertise to national initiatives at the Departments of Defense, Labor and Veterans Affairs that focus on improving the economic outcomes for our nation’s veterans and transitioning service members. Brian devotes his free time providing leadership and assistance to multiple nonprofit organizations, including Vets in Tech which is working to establish its first chapter in the state of Florida.
