Grievance Policy

While PsychArmor Institute goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues which come to the attention of the PsychArmor staff which require intervention and/or action on the part of the Director of Instructional Design or Clinical Program Manager at PsychArmor. This procedural description serves as a guideline for handling such grievances.

  1. If the grievance concerns a course, the content presented by the instructor, or the style of presentation, the individual filing the grievance will be asked to put his/her comments in written format (preferably email) and email their response to the Director of Instructional Design. The Director of Instructional Design will then pass on the comments to the instructor, assuring the confidentiality of the grieved individual.
  2. If the grievance concerns a webinar offering, its content, level of presentation, then the Director of Instructional Design will take action. If the participant requests action, the Director of Instructional Design will:
    1. provide a partial or full refund of the webinar (if applicable)
    2. attempt to give the participant to a new course that meets his/her needs

Above actions will require a written note (email), documenting the grievance, for record keeping purposes. The note need not be signed by the grieved individual.

If the grievance concerns PsychArmor Institute’s CE program, in a specific regard, the Clinical Program Manager will attempt to arbitrate.

Please contact our Director of Instructional Design by email at Support@PsychArmor.org regarding course complaints or our Clinical Programs Manager at CE@PsychArmor.org for CE program complaints, or if you have additional questions.
