No Veteran Dies Alone Volunteer Training: Part Two: Preparing Yourself for Serious Illness, Dying, and Grief

Join Dr. Scott Shreve as the No Veteran Dies Alone program volunteer training continues. Dr. Shreve, with the help of experienced volunteers, will help to prepare you for your role as a volunteer. The course will 1.) Help you identify your feelings about serious illness, dying and grief. 2.) Discuss three things that play a big role in a Veteran’s illness and dying process and 3.) Provide an overview of the grief process. The course is made possible in partnership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
