Invisible Wounds of War Overview – IVMF

Invisible Wounds of War Overview is designed for anyone who may be interacting with a Veteran in any capacity and is interested in learning more about invisible wounds. Lessons include Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Depression. This course provides information explaining the principles of trauma-informed care and describes the symptoms of these particular wounds, how they present in Veterans, and how to help someone that is that may be suffering. The goal of this course is to provide the learner with a better understanding of invisible wounds of war and what they can do to assist someone who is affected by them.
