COURSES FOR MILITARY VETERAN CAREGIVERS AND FAMILIES

Balancing Caretaking Duties And Self-Care As A Caregiver

Did you know that the United States is home to more than 5.5 million military caregivers? Sponsored by The USAA Foundation, Psycharmor® Institute offers courses to help caregivers balance their caretaking duties and their need for self-care. Beginning with the “Am I A Caregiver” course, caregivers learn that these “extra chores” they have taken on to provide support for their Veteran actually makes them a caregiver.

These 40 caregiver courses provide information and strategies about how to manage the demands and stressors of caregiving. The courses also offer multiple resources that can assist you in your caregiving experience. In addition, with the generous support of USAA, PsychArmor is proud to offer the Caregiver’s Experience binder. This binder was created to supplement learning with tips & takeaways from each course while providing a central place to track resources and other important documents. For more information about the binders, click here or contact our Clinical Department at support@psycharmor.org.

MDxHealth and Elizabeth Dole Foundation have partnered to launch an online education course designed to improve awareness and appropriate utilization of innovative precision medicine technologies among Veterans and their caregivers.
