Director, Strategic Innovation Group, Georgetown University
Robin Portman has held numerous executive-level roles over her career. Currently, she is the Director of the Strategic Innovations Group at Georgetown University’s School of Nursing & Health Studies. In this role, she is creating and leading a new initiative to drive innovation and develop innovative leadership for the healthcare industry.
Prior to this role, Ms. Portman was an executive at Booz Allen Hamilton for over 22 years, based in McLean, VA. As an Executive Vice President, she led the firm’s Corporate Growth function including Business Development, Corporate Development, and Marketing & Communications.
Ms. Portman was a corporate leader and champion for Booz Allen’s veteran and Wounded Warrior support efforts. She created and drove many of Booz Allen’s pro bono campaigns and efforts to benefit our nation’s heroes. Her team received Booz Allen’s most prestigious honor, the Professional Excellence Award, in recognition of its outstanding service to the community for veteran issues, such as employment, community reintegration, and family support.
Ms. Portman has a B.S. degree in education and an M.S. degree in management information systems, both from the University of Maryland.
