BETSY McBRIDE, Ph.D.
Psychologist, Director Clinical Operations for Military & Family Life Counseling Program (MFLC) ; Health Net Federal Services.
Serving as the Director of Operations for the MFLC program since 2008, Dr. McBride currently oversees 119 military installations and over 800 assignments supporting service branches worldwide. Military and Family Life Counselors provide much needed adult and child and youth non-medical counseling support to active duty service members and their families in a variety of settings. McBride has over 25 years of senior level management experience in Mental Health administration as well as direct clinical experience with Critical Incident Stress debriefing.
McBride received her BA from Stanford University and her MS and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. The wife of a career naval officer, McBride now calls the DC metropolitan area home and maintains licensure as a clinical psychologist in Virginia, Maryland and DC.
