Fellows Program Coordinator, Elizabeth Dole Foundation; Caregiver to combat disabled husband, OIF Veteran

Emery A. Popoloski is a military caregiver for her husband, a combat disabled Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran. As an Elizabeth Dole Fellow Alumna, Emery works to advocate not only for herself and her family, but for all military caregivers. Emery joined the Elizabeth Dole Foundation as their Caregiver Community Program Coordinator and is now the Foundation’s Fellows Program Coordinator.

Prior to becoming a military caregiver, Emery worked in the legal field as a certified paralegal, gaining experience in family and criminal law. As a paralegal, Emery assisted in several high profile trials, to include jury selection, witness preparation, preparing exhibits and sitting with counsel. Emery graduated with honors from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, where she majored in political science.  Emery is now pursuing her Masters of Public Administration & Policy at American University.
