COURSE OVERVIEW

Communication Skills with Veterans is designed for any volunteer that is interested in giving their time to work with and care for Veterans. It provides information on how to communicate effectively with veterans. The goal of this course is to assist volunteers in communicating and supporting Veterans in their volunteer organization by using open-ended questions, affirmations and reflections.
